The average sale price of a home in Sherwood Park has bounced around somewhat during the past year but is now relatively the same as May 2015. More homes have sold this May than in the previous year, but they took slightly longer to sell. There is some expectation by buyers for prices to drop further, but that does not appear to be happening. On the other side, sellers expectations are slightly higher than the market may bear. Regardless of the economic uncertainty in Alberta over the past year, real estate prices are holding up fairly well in the Sherwood Park area.
